Brrrr, its November. The cold, windy, dark nights are here to stay so on a lighter note thought I would share my new love for gloves! I particularly like  Valentino and Roberto Cavali's experimentation with trim detailing from bronzed sequins to golden square studs :) However not a cheap pair of hands to keep warm prices start from £255 upwards a pair.

A nod to Oasis

Credited in today's Stylist magazine and available online at Oasis, which I must add was quite impressed with their evening and occasion wear offering - this retailer has definitely stepped up the game! I'm in love with these two dresses with maxi chiffon pleated hem style detail, creating a new signature look for the Season. One or shall I say two for the Christmas wish list...

Pretty sure everyone will be wearing these, they're on my Christmas wish list. Acne have created a wedge style brogue - subtly mannish, edgy yet striking.

Pret a Portas

What an exciting week, countdown is on....finally preparing for the launch of Mary Portas' new collection which has finally been let out the bag, very honoured to be apart of this project.  Mary's collection will be exclusive to House of Fraser's London Oxford Street flagship store and to the web which goes live this Thursday, supported by a TV programme launching in October to document the journey.

Anthropologie

Spreading the love for Anthropologie really do think they are one to watch....This American brand has some really beautiful imagery on their website, embracing the wholesome relationship between clothing and the home.  Set for further expansion in the U.K their Regent Street store is worth a visit for a flavour of the fun with inspiring interiors.

One word....Tucker.  Absolutely love the brand's prints on these beautiful silk blouses and dresses, hailing inspiration from all walks of life these are definitely winners.

My favourite fashion accessories from SS11

After reviewing fashion accessories from SS11 from the catwalk... Marni, Emporio Armani and Iceberg are amongst a few of my favourites . Key features include:  double and super-functional belts, saddle and book bag satchel's taking inspirational from the playground, bootie sandles with multiple knots and buckle straps, oversized and geometric sunglasses for a dramatic look. Perhaps we will see alot of these trends carrying through to AW 11/12 but adapting more warming and fruitful colour palettes.
