Victoria Beckham is our muse

We're currently in the process of developing our AW11 product and decided that Victoria Beckham would be our muse and inspiration.  Reviewing her Runway collections from last September we can't wait for fashion week next month to see what she pulls out the bag...  I love her collections because they are minimalistic/ sophisticated using clean cut silhouettes and accent colours which pop against the classic black and ivory tones.

Fancy a chocolate coffee?

What an amazing weekend I have had in Milan with Bea and Laura, I really couldn't have asked for better friends. With Bea's Italian roots, she dedicated herself as tour guide taking us to some amazing historic sights from the Piazzo Castello to the Duomo.  Even the chipped and cobbled streets have given me life and inspiration for colour palettes.

It has definitely been a marvellous weekend for devouring chocolate coffee which I discovered in California Bakery - where we went for Laura's Birthday breakfast,  spending the rest of the day window shopping the luxury high end designer boutiques.

Will I find love in Milan?

The day has finally come...tomorrow I am off to Milan  with my friend Laura to visit one of my greatest friends Bea who is currently studying her Masters in Fashion Buying at Institute Marangoni! I managed to get some bargain flights and some time off work to spend a long weekend in the fashion capital. Can't wait to take some great photographs of the sights with my new camera, visit concept stores and experience the elegant and provocative night clubs,  not to forget trying a traditional Cappuccino to perhaps endure a new Coffee addition.

A room full of little treasures

With my bedroom being the most desirable place for me to spend time in my house, here are a few of my favourite and precious objects. By the way I would totally recommend the book: 'The Goodness Experience' by Gisele Scanlon, this brightens up my day  - a perfect relaxing read before going to sleep. Thanks Mandy for this gift!

An avenue that never sleeps

Walking along New York City's 5th Avenue one evening was a great chance to capture some of Sak's sophisticated and elegant window displays.  The department store drew me in, with an animated snow ball effect reflected on to the store's exterior, played with the sound of Christmas music.  It felt like I had just walked past a musical on Broadway...

Another beautiful bite of the big apple

Revisiting New York at Christmas is important to me, because it was one of the last holidays I had with my Mum before she passed away. Here are some of my favourite pictures captured from my last visit in December, where my brother is currently living and studying - following in my foot steps. No matter how many times I return to the City, will always be sure to take photographs in these very same locations.

It's a boutique girls playground

Henri Bendal on 5th Avenue is one of my favourite department stores in New York lending feel to a boutique. The store's visual merchandising is always remarkable every year,  it is really difficult not to fall in love with their fantascy fairytale inspired displays.
