Finally trying to catch up with the catwalk shows from fashion week currently taking place in Milan, my favourite so far is Alice + Olivia shown in New York. The collection uses lots of embellishment, faux fur tiers and trims, skinny waist belts, and an emphasis on sequins to complete these destination occasion wear must haves. I have picked these six looks from their show which I think would sit perfectly together for a Christmas collection.

My love for Mulberry's marketing...
With the recent passing of Chinese New Year and Valentine's day I have been looking through Mulberry's blog and really admire some of their ideas used to plug these occasions, which capture the essence and femininity of the brand, especially with their expansion in to the apparel market.
Here are a few of my favourites....now can I have a Bayswater please?

LV know how to make a stylish ride?
Reading Vogue magazine during my commute in to London for work I came across Louis Vuitton's Cruise collection ad for SS11 featuring Russian model Anne Vyalitsyna, who I think looks absolutely stunning in these pictures.
The mise-en-scene of the shots are calming and relaxed...lightly complementing the series of 1960s inspired outfits filled with floaty prom skirts and dresses. The nude block colours pay delicate attention to detail using fragile textured and embellished flowers.

My favourite must haves this month
Its going to be a difficult month, with only just over a week since I got payed and BANG - already blown this months wages because I couldn't resist some retail therapy... So I bought myself two pairs of pleat front tapered trousers from Topshop in Olive and Rust, and have my eyes set on the rest of these tops to complete my outfits. I love these Autumn colours, they remind me of walking through Central Park on Halloween.
Tops and Trousers - Topshop
Boots and Heels - ASOS
