Som does it again...

Having previously interned for Peter Som when I was living in New York, it is hard to resist not browsing his  Collections each Season for fashion week. Here are some of my favourites from AW 11RTW, typically you can find his collections in high end department stores across the United States: Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Henri Bendal, Saks Fifth Avenue are amongst the few, also expanding in to the global market to exclusive boutiques.

Colours: Subtly uses burnt orange accents amongst tobacco and black houndstooth prints

Silhouettes: Emphasis on maxi dresses, cuffed trousers, open neck lines and continual belted waist lines

Fabrications: Shiny sequin and metallic jacquards

I left my heart in Tokyo...

So Bea inspired me to write this post today...when I checked my phone at work and there it was a message saying she had been looking at flights back to Tokyo... With it being just over a year since we visited Japan, would do anything to go back to such a phenomenal, breath taking and inspiring City. Next visit, when ever this is.... I plan to ride the Bullet train to Kyoto and perhaps say hello to Mount Fuji.

Marc Jacobs Fall Winter 2011 Collection

Looking through You Tube it became apparent the increasing world domination for fashion designers and brands to hit the zeitgeist on here to help plug their collections.  Even Net A Porter, have placed preview clips of their launch for Net A Porter TV - which is now live and available to watch through their website.

Here is a clip below of Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 Collection which is one of my favourites...I love the weird and craziness, you cannot really predict what will be coming out next on to the runway.

My favourite must haves this month

Here are some of my favourite must haves this month...Can't wait to make my purchases! I tried on the Leopard palazzo trousers today from Miss Selfridge and they look great teamed with some sky scraper black wedges and a tight fitted playsuit, I just need to plan a venue to wear this little number...

Fun with friends in the flower bed...

Its finally the beginning of March and I cannot wait to Spring in to Summer, here is a photoshoot that my friend Charlotte and myself took last year.  It reminds me just how much I love my camera....and looking back on old photographs with friends.  Hopefully we should have some more shoots planned soon with some more of my beautiful friends! XOXO
